MARINE RADIO AND
SHORT RANGE CERTIFICATE
A
one-day course in VHF Marine Radio with Digital Selective Calling (DSC) will be
held on Saturday 26th March 2011 at the RMYC Clubhouse Trainer: Paul Harrison Start time to be confirmed This will be the RYA Marine Radio course leading to a Short Range Certificate, which is
the qualification required by law if you operate a VHF marine radio fitted with
DSC The course fee will be £60 plus RYA Certification fee of £30(These
Fees compare very favourably with courses elsewhere) To book your place on this course please contact John Collingwood. A deposit of £20 will be required to secure your place, with the remainder of the course fee payable by 28th February 2011. Please make cheques payable to Royal Mersey Yacht Club. The RYA fee will be payable on the day.
